I. Crane

I. Crane is the working title of a contemporary retelling of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. Set in the late 90s, I. Crane is a grunge-colored fantasy/horror adaptation of the classic 1819 story. I’ve reworked the titular character, Ichabod Crane, into a 27 year-old Teacher’s Assistant in New York City. The story illustrates his obsession with the supernatural and his own struggles within his personal and social life.
